Further on EuroCALL

I’ve just got an email saying that there are a number of podcasts (50) of the talks from the Conference as well as the plenaries. If you look in the left-hand menu you will see the Podcasts link.

EuroCALL

I want to use this blog space to keep you up-to-date with developments in teaching, learning and technology, so I thought I’d start with my recent visit to EuroCALL where I was involved in a presentation about a European project called LANCELOT. For those of you who don’t know it, EuroCALL is the European organisation for Computer Assisted Language Learning and many of the people who attend work in a range of different languages doing CALL work. There are some interesting recordings of talks on the site and a blog of what happened.

My own talk was about a course that has been set up to train language teachers to teach ‘Live Online’, in other words to make use of synchronous tools in language education. If you want to see the presentation we did you can look at at least some of it here. A more detailed version of this talk will be available soon.
