DOCTORAL COMMUNITY @ LTE

Welcome to The Doctoral Community of the Language Teacher Education (LTE) group at The University of Manchester (School of Education).

The LTE group has a main blog where its flagship programmes — the MA TESOL and MA EdTech & TESOL — and staff are introduced along with all manner of other postings, links, blogs, and information.

This sister blog is a space for current, former and prospective doctoral students with LTE to present their work, share their research(er) experiences, and discuss their developing and polished ideas. There are also contributions by LTE staff members (some of whom undertook their doctoral studies at Manchester) and by Research Associates who currently collaborate with them.

If you are an ‘outsider’ to this community but are engaged by the research ideas, passions, approaches, and personalities represented here in this blog, why not join us?

Further details about the research degrees supervised by LTE colleagues can be found here: http://www.education.manchester.ac.uk/postgraduate/research/

If you are interested in applying, you will need to produce a research proposal outline and we have created some guidance on how to do this.
